Boccalone exists to share with you our passion for the world’s finest salumi. We believe that fine salumi teach us to live a patient life in pursuit of flavor, rather than a relentless hunt for ever-increasing quantity – to seek better, not more. Our goal is to offer products and service that reflect these values and to always seek to improve upon our uncompromising standards.

Salumi Society

Salumi Society memberships are administered locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you have any customer care inquiries regarding your membership, please call us or send an email to salumisociety@boccalone.com and a Boccalone representative will be happy to assist you. Please note that Salumi Society memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions:

Salumi Society Membership is billed quarterly (six Sacchetti), in advance. Membership renews automatically following the completion of each quarter; we will gladly pause or stop renewal upon request received prior to the renewal date.

The variety in the Sacchetto will be different from pickup to pickup; we are not able to accommodate custom orders or substitutions at this time.

It is your responsibility to pick up your Sacchetto during the term of your membership. Up-to-date information about pickup schedules and locations will be available on Boccalone’s home page.

If you will be unable to receive a pickup, please notify us at least three days prior and we will defer your pickup to a future date.

Limited-edition products, such as prosciutto and lonza, shall not be included in the regular Sacchetto but will be offered to Members based on availability as an add-on option, at a discount to regular retail price.

We are committed to your enjoying the experience of Salumi Society membership. If you are not completely satisfied, please provide at least seven days notice prior to the next Salumi Society pickup and we will gladly cancel your membership and refund the amount of your remaining pickups, less a $10 processing fee.

Internet Orders

We strive to ship Internet orders as quickly as possible following receipt of the order, subject to our shipping schedule below. If for some reason the product you have ordered is not available, the item will be placed on backorder and we will notify you via email of the options for receiving the product when it is available.

Please note that prices are subject to change without notice.

Shipping

To minimize the time our products spend in transit, we ship second-day air or overnight. To ensure our products arrive in perfect condition, shipments go out only Monday through Wednesday.

We regret that shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all exchange orders.

Cancellations Policy

Orders may be canceled with advance notice. If you wish to cancel a recently placed order, we will do everything possible to honor your request. However, if your order has begun its journey through the shipping process, it cannot be canceled or revised.

Returns and Exchanges

We are confident that you will love your selection. If a product arrives damaged or spoiled through the transit process, we will happily replace it.

Due to the perishable nature of our meats, we are not able to exchange them. For return or exchange of other merchandise, please contact us for instructions.
